1. The Short Answer 🎯
God's silence isn’t His absence.
Sometimes, it’s how He strengthens your faith.
2 · Let’s Break It Down ✍🏽
💭 Asking for a sign isn’t new.
Even the greats did it.
Gideon asked for dew on the fleece (Judges 6:36–40).
Thomas wanted to touch Jesus’ wounds (John 20:25).
The Pharisees demanded signs—but not from faith (Matthew 16:1–4).
What matters is why we ask.
Are we seeking assurance—or control?
🌒 When God feels distant, your faith is being refined.
“Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.”
— Job 13:15
Spiritual dryness or divine silence often come after we seek Him deeply.
Not because He’s gone—but because He’s forming something deeper in us.
Like a teacher who’s silent during the test,
God may be present and watching more closely than ever.
“The righteous will live by faith.”
— Romans 1:17
🔥 Signs fade. Trust doesn’t.
Even those who saw signs often walked away.
(Think Israel in the desert, or the crowds who saw miracles.)
Faith built only on signs is fragile.
Faith built on truth, tested in silence, endures.
3. How You Can Start 🎬
Next time you feel that silence, pray this:
“Lord, even when You feel far, I will remain.
Not because I feel You… but because I know You.”
And ask:
Am I chasing confirmation… or communion?
4. A Verse to Carry With You 📔
“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.”
— Psalm 34:18
5. Final Thought 💬
God isn’t a formula.
He’s not obligated to show up on demand.
But He promises this:
“If you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me.”
— Jeremiah 29:13
