1 · The Short Answer 🎯
You can’t convince anyone of Jesus—
but you can reflect Him well enough to make them curious.
2 · Let’s Break It Down ✍🏽
🧠 Start from your foundation.
Before we can share our faith, we need to know it.
Evangelism doesn’t begin with a script—it begins with formation.
If your understanding of Jesus is shallow, so will be your testimony.
That doesn’t mean you need a theology degree, but you do need grounding in:
The Trinity — Who is this God we speak of?
Christology — Who is Jesus and why does He matter?
The Scriptures — Why do we trust the Bible?
The Early Church — How did the first Christians defend the faith?
“Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you
the reason for the hope that is in you.”
— 1 Peter 3:15
🗣️ Speak less to argue, more to understand.
Most atheists aren’t looking for a debate.
They’re wondering if faith is honest, intelligent, and human.
If you sound like a salesman, they’ll walk away.
But if you share from your own wrestle, they might stay.
🪞 Your posture matters.
Kindness, clarity, and humility go further than clever arguments.
📖 Let the Word speak louder than you.
God’s Word doesn’t need decoration—it needs transmission.
Simple verses often disarm more than intellectual defenses.
Try John 1:1, Romans 5:8, or Matthew 11:28 depending on the context.
And don’t be afraid to say: “I’m not sure yet. Let me search it with you.”
3. How You Can Start 🎬
Here’s one way to begin:
“Hey, I know we don’t see things the same way—but my faith has really helped me. Would you be open to hearing why?”
And remember:
It’s not your job to convert. It’s your job to reflect Jesus.
The rest is up to the Spirit.
4. A Verse to Carry With You 📔
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel,
because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.”
— Romans 1:16
5. Final Thought 💬
Your friend might not believe yet.
But if you’re rooted in truth and walk in love,
your life will say more than a thousand words.
